DESCRIPTION:On December 6th\, the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) adopted a new General Order for Sanitary Sewer Systems\, which will replace the 2006 Order and the 2013 Monitoring and Reporting program when the new Order becomes effective in early June 2023.  The final version of the Order will be available on the State Water Board’s Sanitary Sewer System Program Webpage in late December 2022.  \nOn January 11\, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\, the Clean Water Summit Partners (CVCWA\, BACWA\, CASA\, Clean Water So. Cal (formally SCAP)\, and CWEA) will host a free Zoom webinar on the new SSS WDR. With a variety of new and modified requirements building upon the 2006 SSS WDR Order\, this event is designed for collection system LROs\, data submitters\, managers and operators to help highlight different priority actions that should pursued in the coming months and years in order to comply with the new SSS WDR Order by its June 4\, 2023\, effective date\, including:  \n\nThe streamlined process for existing enrollees to transfer current Order enrollment to the new Order\, prior to the new Order becoming effective; \n\n\nThe priority actions to comply with modified spill reporting and updated Spill Emergency Response Plan requirements by June 2023; \nClarifications for updating Sewer System Management Plans in 2025 and 2026\, based on the current Plan update schedules in the existing Order. \n\nRegister Now via the Zoom link below: \nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_M0TkeHBuSlG2ha3kte30Qw

DESCRIPTION:Topic: Spill Emergency Response Plan\n\nDescription:\n\nThis webinar will focus on required updates to Spill Emergency Response Plans for sewer systems currently enrolled for coverage under State Water Resources Control Board’s Order No. 2006-0003-DWQ\, Statewide General Waste Discharge Requirements for Sanitary Sewer Systems. The State Water Resources Control Board recently reissued the General Order with the adoption of Order No. 2022-0103-DWQ\, which will become effective on June 5\, 2023. The reissued Order requires existing enrollees to update and implement Spill Emergency Response Plans by June 4\, 2023 to comply with the reissued Order.
