SUMMARY:CV-SALTS Implementation “Workshop for POTWs"
DESCRIPTION:Workshop – CV-SALTS Implementation for Publicly Owned Treatment Works and other Wastewater Treatment Plants \nCVCWA is teaming with the Central Valley Regional Water Board and the Central Valley Salinity Coalition to provide outreach to the municipal wastewater collection\, treatment and recycling community (aka POTWs) to inform the POTW community of upcoming implementation of Phase 1 of CV-SALTS.  This workshop will include information on what to expect from the Regional Water Board in early 2020 concerning permitting and options to comply with CV-SALTS.  The Workshop will include an overview of CV-SALTS and permitting specifics for both the Salinity and Nitrate Control Programs.  This workshop will be held at the Regional Water Board’s Rancho Cordova office with remote participation at their Fresno and Redding Offices.\nMore information and registration coming in Late-August or September.
